Terms of Service
Last updated: January 19, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Miners Union platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Miners Union.
2. Description of Service
Miners Union provides a web-based interface for interacting with the Bittensor network, including but not limited to staking, delegation, and token swapping functionalities. The Service operates as a non-custodial platform, meaning we never take possession or control of your digital assets.
3. Blockchain and Bittensor Network
The Service interacts with the Bittensor blockchain network, a decentralized protocol that is not owned or controlled by Miners Union. You acknowledge and agree that:
- Bittensor is a decentralized network operated by independent validators and miners worldwide
- Transactions on the Bittensor network are irreversible once confirmed
- Network fees, emission rates, and protocol rules are determined by the Bittensor protocol, not by us
- We have no control over the Bittensor network's operation, security, or availability
- Subnet performance, rewards, and alpha token values are determined by network dynamics beyond our control
4. Non-Custodial Service
Miners Union is a non-custodial service. This means:
- You maintain full control and ownership of your private keys and wallet
- We never have access to your private keys or seed phrases
- You are solely responsible for securing your wallet and credentials
- Lost or compromised private keys cannot be recovered by us
- All transactions are initiated and signed by you through your own wallet
5. Risks and Disclaimers
By using this Service, you acknowledge and accept the following risks:
- Market Risk: The value of TAO, alpha tokens, and other digital assets can be highly volatile and may fluctuate significantly. You may lose some or all of your investment.
- Smart Contract Risk: Blockchain protocols and smart contracts may contain bugs or vulnerabilities that could result in loss of funds.
- Validator Risk: Validator performance may vary, and rewards are not guaranteed. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
- Network Risk: The Bittensor network may experience downtime, congestion, or other technical issues that could affect your ability to transact.
- Regulatory Risk: The regulatory status of digital assets and staking services varies by jurisdiction and may change over time.
- Technology Risk: Software bugs, hacking attempts, or other technical failures could result in loss of funds.
- Slippage Risk: Token swaps and staking transactions may be subject to price slippage, meaning the actual execution price may differ from the quoted or expected price due to market conditions.
- Transaction Fee Risk: Blockchain transactions require fees that may vary based on network congestion. Failed transactions may still incur fees.
- Estimation Risk: All price estimates, alpha calculations, reward projections, and APY figures displayed on the Service are estimates only and may differ significantly from actual results.
6. Experimental and Alpha Features
Some features of the Service may be labeled as "Alpha," "Beta," "Experimental," or similar designations. These features:
- Are provided on an "as is" basis and may contain bugs, errors, or unexpected behavior
- May be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice
- May produce inaccurate estimates, calculations, or results
- Should be used with extra caution and at your own risk
- Are not guaranteed to function as described or intended
By using experimental features, you expressly acknowledge and accept additional risks associated with untested functionality. We strongly recommend starting with small amounts when using new features.
7. No Financial Advice
Nothing contained in this Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. The information provided is for general informational purposes only. You should consult with qualified professionals before making any financial decisions. APY figures, rewards estimates, and other projections are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
